In Erangel I have found you some location where you can get flare gun 9 out of 10 matches. • Novorempoye - In the bottom right corner of the map there is novermpoye which is a high risk location many of the players drops here if the plane's path goes form or near by novo and some players even use vehicles to go there if the plane path is not near it. You will 8 out of 10 matches find flare gun here sometimes multiple flare gun also.My highest score to find flare gun here is 3.
1. Risk - High Risk Landing Spot
2. Loot Quality - Very High Quality Loot
3. Loot Quantity - More than enough for one squad
4. Loot Area - Very Large Area to loot ( at least 5-7 containers and 15+ houses )  
5. Multiple flares - rare

• Georgeopool -  This is also a high risk area if then plane path is nearby. This is also a port type spot which is filled with containers and warehouses and 3 crane type high location which are best for sniping. You can spot every enemy from these cranes. My highest score to find flare gun here is 2.

3. Loot Quantity - Enough for one squad
4. Loot Area - Big Area for loot (5-7 containers and 5 warehouses)
5. Multiple flare -rare

• Milatry Base - Again a high risk area and 6 out of 10 matches you will find flare gun here. There is 3 big building and 2 big office type are and a big building in the backside. The loot quality here is high and the quantity of the loot is also high which is more then enough for one squad. My highest score to find flare gun here is 3.
1. Risk - High Risk area execpt  3-4 squad if the plane's path is near and 2 if the plane's path is between novo and milatry.
2. Loot Quality - High Quality Loot (Snipers/ AR all type of weapons)
3. Loot Quantity - Enough Loot for one squad
4. Loot Area - Large (3 building 2 big office 1 tower and much more) 
5. Multiple flares - rare

• Mylta Power - Medium risk area but if he plane's path start or end at this location then except at least 2-3 squad here. A big blue house and 4 warehouses and near mylta power there is small factory which is also good for loot. You probably find flare in 6 out of 10 matches here.If the zone is not near you can find vehicles easily here.My highest score to find flare gun here is 3
1. Risk - Medium Risk Landing Spot
2. Loot Quality -  High Quality Loot
3. Loot Quantity - Sometimes enough for one squad and sometime not
4. Loot Area - Big Area for loot (There is two medium size location to loot one is mylta power and the area near it)
5. Multiple flare - very rare

• Spawn Island - Very Low risk area but getting there and coming back and go into zone took so much time and risk. The loot quality here is high and you can find every type of weapon like sniper / AR with full ammo. You have to take care that you always took gas can and extra meds with you so you can reach the zone.
1. Risk - Low risk because very low squad take risk to go there and survive.
2. Loot Quality - Very high Quality loot (but sometimes you don't find gas can or enough  health kits to survive to make it to the zone )
3. Loot Quantity - Weapon will be enough for the squad but health sometimes will not be enough for a squad 
4. Loot Area - Medium Category Loot Area 
5. Multiple flare - Based on luck some time multiple but sometime nothing

• Prison-Shelter / Zharki / Yasnaya Polyana / Primorsk / Shooting Range - These are low risk locations where you can find flare sometimes if you want to play safe for rank push these loot locations are good for this strategy.

2. Loot Quality - Medium Loot Quality
3. Loot Quantity - Sometimes enough for one squad and sometime not
4. Loot Area - Small to Medium Area to loot
5. Multiple flare - Very Very rare to get multiple flares. 

  

Tip - Always look for the underground bunkers as shown in fig. I have found flare many time there. There are underground bunkers near shooting range , near severny , shelter is all underground tunnel and tell me underground bunker if I forget any to mention.

How to use flare or when to use flare

Now after finding flare gun you have to use is properly otherwise you will get nothing but the camp fire. Things to check before using flare gun.

1. Always aim in the sky and straight, if you aim with angle then the airdrop will drop at the location where you don't want it to.
2. Before shooting flare gun make sure you are in the safe zone to get the highly valuable equipment like AWM, M249, Aug A3 , Groza , Mk14 etc
3. If you are not if the zone you will get the Closed - Armored UAZ which is good for one player only because if enemy start cashing you , you can not fire on them and they will blast the UAZ  and your whole squad will vanish, you can make good cover of this closed- armored UAZ.
4. Look for cover and a good location before using flare gun, because using flare in open can get you killed.
5. Throw at least 2 Smoke grenades before you go to pick the items form the drop.
